25A - What's Next

All I need to do is find someone who can create the app for me.
The three customers agree this should be the next step.
I will have to promote it so that people know about it and can use it.

My market already has a radically different market. Any type of person can own a dog unless they don't like them.
My venture will apply to any person who has a dog.
The people I interviewed didn't have any feedback except that they would love to have a product like this.
My market isn't any different because I already knew it was radically different in general.

  1. Once you create the app, will you immediately push it out to the app stores? It may make sense to test the effectiveness of the app with a control group and seek their feedback about what works and what doesn't work. There could be simple things such as the UI that needs to be changed or more complex things such as the GPS tracking that needs to be looked at.

  2. Hey Savanna,
I agree that the development of the app should definitely be your next step in furthering your product. Once you achieve that, promoting and marketing it to different environments to get a feel of what consumers are most attracted to it would be most beneficial. I was watching the Westminister Dog Show the other day and that would definitely be an ideal spot one day for your to market your product. Those consumers regard their dogs higher than themselves and would probably want to take any measures necessary to keep them safe.

  4. Hey savanna,
I think it would be a great idea to consider places that you would promote your app. Maybe think of a list of places that dog owners tend to go, and start from there. You could promote your business at pet stores, the humane society, vets, dog parks, even just popular areas that tend to have a lot of pupper action. This is a great way to spread the word!
