18A - Customer Avatar
I found this assignment a little difficult just because my business idea has a very broad customer base. It's for anyone who has a dog, but the type of people who own dogs has an extremely large range. My customer would be a dog lover of any shape or size who struggles with running into other dog walkers when they're out in about. What I have in common with my customer is that I also have a dog and she is reactive to other dogs which makes it a struggle to walk her. So my app, warning me when dogs are approaching would be very helpful to me and my customers.
Hey Sav, even though your customer base is very large, enveloping anyone who owns a dog, I think you still did a good job evaluating the type of owners who would use your app. This can definitely be appealing to owners who have aggressive or large dogs and want their own space when walking their pet. This also would be great for owners with small dogs, great job.
ReplyDeleteHi Savanna, I think that there is a very large customer base, however, it helps to dive deeper into what exactly the customer's needs and wants are to get a more complete description of your consumers. Maybe customers that buy more dog harnesses would be interested in your app due to struggling with their dog while taking it on walks? Overall, great job!

ReplyDeleteI agree that your service can help a very broad range of people. Not every one who owns a dog is the same. But I could imagine your stereotypical customer as a young person, probably around 22-30. People who are younger than that may not feel responsible yet for how their dog may affect others, and people older may not care to mess around with iphone apps.
