1. I always tried to read the assignments at the beginning of the week. Even if I didn't have time to do them at the time I would at least skim over them to get an idea of what is expected of me. This helped me to stay on top of the assignments because I knew what to expect and could think about it throughout the week.
2. I felt like giving up earlier this week when I had exams Monday and Tuesday. I started studying too late for them not realizing how much information was involved. I had to stay up until 5 in the morning every night for 3 nights and really push myself to get through as much material as I could. I was determined to get good grades on both of them and pushed through.
3. You must be very tenacious in this class. You need to be on top of the assignments and make sure to watch the lectures so you can be prepared for the cupcakes.

ReplyDeleteI also check my assignments at the beginning of the week to figure out what I need to do during the week. I usually skim the actual assignment so I know what is expected of me. The other week I felt like giving up after realizing I was unprepared for one of my exams; my friend in the same class encouraged me to try my best and see what happens. This class requires us to stay on top of the assignments because of their noon turn in time. Its very helpful to do the assignments the day before, not the day of.
I have always felt that this class is not challenging as long as you stay ahead and check canvas weekly to create an agenda and keep up with the assignments.Looking at the blog posts beforehand is always a good technique so you know the time constraint that is expected of you. I believe these are good life tips as well not just specific for this course.

ReplyDeleteI also always try to plan out my week at the beginning so I know what is expected of me. I have also mistakenly waited too long before I started studying for a test and had to pull all nighters to learn the material. I think this is great advice to give future students and I also really enjoy the picture you added. The office is one of my favorite shows of all time!
